Have a flight booked arriving at Auckland International airport at midnight - wanting to confirm if a pre-booking for Uber (or other ride share options) can be booked? Is there any surcharge for late night / early morning bookings?

You can book your Uber in advanced but it does not guarantee that you will have a ride. It is still recommended that when traveling from airports (even in the middle of the night) that you simply request your vehicle when you land. There is always a supply of drivers ready!
There is no standard surcharge but depending on demand, you may hit surge pricing.
