"According to it’s latest diversity and inclusion report, released Friday, Lyft doubled in size over the past year. At the same time, the ride-hailing company increased its share of women in technical roles by three percentage points to 21% and brought representation of black and Hispanic employees from 13% to 19%."

Glad to see this today, just when I was feeling at an all time low about this society and our gender norms.

Very interesting info, thanks for this article! Diversity is a very important thing nowadays, and it's amazing that some companies take that into account. It's important to have diversity in the workplace because it's good for the workers, and for the company because it improves the image. I can write even more here because some time ago I finished a paper on diversity so I know a lot of info about it. I also used one site, and you see it here, with different diversity essay examples, which not only helped me to write a paper but also to find out something new. And I hope, that more and more companies will become more diverse in the future.

I’d love to see the breakdown of male and female drivers. Equality is far away

Just make all the drivers employees. You will solve the diversity problem overnight.

Lyft "diversity" hiring is like Uber "diversity" hiring...  Lipstick on a pig for show and marketing only.
