Drive for first time last night.  Took a woman from NJ to 5th Ave. in NYC.  Was then not allowed to pick anyone up in NYC.  Whaaaat?  So I drove back to NJ.  Is this how it works?  Can I at least deduct cost of mileage from my taxes?  Did the fare from NJ into NYC somehow include extra for me having to drive back to NJ?  Thanks
