This is how your friends secretly react when you ask them for help moving.
If only Jerry Seinfeld was a Phlatbed Driver! Some issues to consider are;
- The tricky friendship zone issue calling in favors

Upvote for seinfeld. 20+ years later still funny and relevant.
I'm curious how phlatbed is going. Where are you seeing the most usage? I'm past the stage in my life when I'm moving a lot and would really use this, but when I was in my 20s it would have been really useful.
Phlatbed is going quite well with over 14,000 drivers and growing exponentially on a daily basis. Currently in almost every major city, incumbent on the east coast when it comes to on-demand moving including junk removal and general labor etc. I can connect you with some internal people if interested.
You should partner with TaskRabbit and staff your rental trucks with furniture movers. How cool and helpful would that be? I am not talking about big moves, but like moving some stuff around the house. (for those who cannot)
Hi, actually there are no rental trucks. Drivers use their own vehicles, set their own rates, and chose which jobs/orders they respond to in real time.
It's not unusual to have a handful of drivers taking multiple orders at the IKEA in Brooklyn for example on weekends. One driver hauled in $600 in one weekend shuttling quick drops from that same IKEA branch.
Nice, this had me cracking up.....sooo true!
