Report bad driver On 16th I requested for an Uber after waiting for a long while he pretends to go round and round the neighborhood and finally cancels yet he was in the neighborhood I later learnt that is a trick by Uber drivers cos they earn 75%on cancellation I did not cancel he cancelled yet am told I will be charged that is outrageous I have deleted Uber app rather pay more but deal with professionalism this place s the second this has happened so there is a scam

@nasrin, I would still report this to Uber as they should have record of who you were matched up with. If you had the driver info, say took a screenshot when he accepted your request, that'd be helpful but it isn't required. good luck. I am a driver and we really need to rid of these types of people who don't respect their jobs.
Totally a scam. They drive around for two or five minutes and then hopes for the passenger to cancel, which triggers a cancellation fee that goes into their pockets.
Per Uber's algorithm, they need to be actively driving "towards" you (or else there won't be a cancellation fee), and that's why your drive kept driving in circles near you.
The problem is that we cannot even rate these jerks, because the rating cannot be done on trips that haven't started.
