However there is a catch. Drivers must purchase their own commercial insurance policy. You can purchase through Nomad at a discount. Limited cities. Only available in Bloomington Indiana. Supposed to come to more college towns. Has any drivers tried this company?

It could work, I know about them, with any new company that wants to compete with Uber and Lyft getting drivers to sign up is not the hurdle, having passengers to switch and marketing costs is the major hurdle.
Driver only needs to pay $25.00 per month to use app plus insurance. Be curious to see what the "discounted insurance" would be. It could definitely work. Good idea to start in a few big College cities. Get these kids to spread the word on social media, drivers would be no problem. Love the pitch "Interested in helping us kill Uber and Lyft". I checked out their site. No app for Android yet only I Phone. You can give your email address, phone number, city, and state they will keep you updated with their progress. First 30 drivers in each city to give their info receives 2 months free (50.00). I am not far from Princeton University maybe they will come there in the near future:)
Click on link below to see their progress and first 30 drivers to sign up in each city gets 2 months free ($50.00). Nomad is only in Bloomington Indiana right now. They are NOT asking for money upfront, no "influncers" like TRYP, and I have nothing to do with company. Just came across an article in my google newsfeed thought I'd share info.
