Rideshare Pickups on Military Bases

Wow, I never thought about this before, but just think about how hard it must be to order an Uber or Lyft for a night out when you live on base! My grandma has had trouble just getting a driver to be able to enter her gated community let alone a military base!

Just read this article, and seems like Lyft is trying to make this easier. Only certain driver will be able to access "base mode" on their phones which will allow them to pick you up but still, better than nothing!

    This is cool. There are numerous spots that are hard for Uber/Lyft pickup due to past regulations, slowly I am sure the rules will be updated!

    I think when you live on base you expect to lead a different life than civilians. Nice of Lyft to try to accomodate though.
