I live overseas and will need a long Uber ride from DC to Virginia. I have looked up the fares and scheduling ahead is possible. But how? And when? As I am overseas, Uber sends me to my city. ??

Try typing in the "from" box your starting location in DC, does that change things? You should then see the car/clock icon to make it a scheduled ride. Let me know if that doesn't work!
