I think for students there really should be a discount because not everyone can afford it, I understand that there are buses that take students, bikes and many other cheaper methods, but sometimes it happens that a taxi is needed and it would be much nicer to have a discount. Student discount for college kids?  Really?  Prices are already cut low, in many cases comparable to bus fare.   If you need cheaper than base rates, the only thing noticibly cheaper is walking.
