Uber is using Surges to pay the drivers less!

The latest trend in Uber squeezing blood from a stone is dispicable.  They are offering surges, but when they do- they lower the fare to 1/5 the normal rate.  This pretty much eats up most of the surge and is the same as offering a tiny surge.  The old rate of the rides in Charlotte was 60 cents/mile.  Now surge rides have as low as      16 cents per mile.

DISGUSTING!
