We arrive at 3:30 in the morning at the Amtrak station in Petersburg Va. Will there be taxis or Uber working at that time?

Near transportation hubs, there are usually some drivers.

Around train stations in populated areas (such as Petersburg), there are usually at least some drivers working at all hours of the day and night.  I suspect you will be okay, but you may want to keep a local taxi phone number in mind. (Check our fares estimate calculator for taxi phone numbers)

Keep in mind that the availbilty of drivers heavily depends on when you are requesting the ride, i.e. what time and what day of the week.

If you are still planning the trip, you can use your Uber app and enter your two locations.  I suggest that you do this a week in advance, at the time you are planning to request a ride, and see if there are any cars available.
