What  can  a ride hailer do if its the middle of the night at a BFE town walmart and they need to get to their destination and there are no drivers?

The town does have lyft service. The rider is trying to get to a town 35 miles away. There is just no drivers active and its 2 degrees outside with a negative wind chill.

If Lyft is available I would immediately schedule (not request, but schedule a ride) provided requesting did not land any drivers. Being that it is a 35 miles a driver even if they are 10 miles away will be happy to grab that passenger once they notice this ride in the ride board. How did that passenger get to the Walmart in the first place?

Thank you for your answer. This was a hypothetical question. I am preparing for cross country travel on the greyhound bus. I live in this middle of nowhere town in far northern michigan. Traveling to phoenix, my bus leaves early in the morning. I have never used ride share, This will be my first time.

The bus station is in a town that is 35 miles away and I probably will have to leave from the Wal-Mart in the middle of the night. My house is a trailer and it requires a compass to get to because I live too far from the road.

That is why I am hailing from the Wal-Mart.  I could use some tips for a first time rider! Much appreciated!
