We have written about Lyft's membership program, Lyft Pink, in the past but recently Lyft has revamped their program with new benefits AND a lower subscription price! Here is everything you need to know about the new and improved Lyft Pink program.
Lyft Pink is Lyft’s paid membership program that allows riders to enjoy member-exclusive savings and preferred experiences when using Lyft’s services. According to Lyft, “Lyft Pink members can ride like VIPs, every time they ride, now for $9.99 per month, or $99 annually. Members get faster pickups at no extra cost with complimentary upgrades to Priority Pickup on Standard rides. Members also enjoy exclusive savings on Lyft Lux, XL, and Preferred rides; and relaxed ride cancellations.”
In addition to the above benefits, the Lyft Pink members can also enjoy bikeshare and scooter unlocks, request roadside assistance for their personal vehicle right from the app, get upgrades on car rentals, and save on food delivery with Grubhub+.
Further, Lyft also offers a Lyft Pink All Access plan that offers even more value. For $199 per year, Lyft Pink All Access has all the benefits of Lyft Pink, plus unlimited 45-minute Classic pedal bike rides and discounted ebike or scooter minutes in any participating city.
From our analysis if you use Lyft daily or even every other day, the cost of a Lyft Pink membership is worth it. According to Lyft, members save on average “$29 per month on rides, excluding the cost of membership.”
