Do Uber and Lyft require drivers to display the window placards? Why don't I always see them?

Uber Express? Honestly, Just Take a Bus
I don't know, guys. Over the last week, I tried it a few times in Boston. Both times it suggested …
What about
- Driver's smelliness
- Driver's height
- Driver's attractiveness
It's like a Tinder profile.
He got one of two right. It has weed in it. And snitch.
Is that even his car.
Seriously why. Is this really considered as an incentive?
what's the difference. LOL.
No GPS, No Receipts, No arrival time, No info on availability...
It's like the opposite of Uber.
Where are you from?
well, not in NYC, right? there are a set number of medallions nad like 13K taxicabs. Always consistent. They will get a reprieve.
It's very interesting to see what the rules will be on who gets the approval to drive those rideshares. TLC has been making moves...
Yes, but these predators can always call hookers and escorts. Why bother calling an Uber driver. It costs $1.90 a minute. LOL.
I will that I have forgotten how to take taxis. The concept has become a bit weird to me, even though I live in Manhattan and I see hundreds every day.
Actually, I often KNOW that I am waiting a lot longer for an UberX. I would request one and 5 taxis would drive by. Every time, I am like, "oh, I guess I could have taken it."
I can't imagine the younger millenials. I wonder they would think, "oh, what are those things going by?"
yeah, I think that's par for the course. I mean, we are just supposed to leave them at places.
Don't chase surge but learn where they will appear.
Don't focus on one specific mall. Try those streets where there are a bunch of stores and stripmalls. Evey city has one, small or big. The mix of stores is diverse enough that they seem to provide different demand at different times = constant pings. At lunch time, there are restaurants. Late afternoon, there are car dealerships, etc.
topic title is misleading.
Did you mean to ask how you would support your family while driving for Uber or Lyft? or are you saying you would like to provide support to someone in your family who drives an Uber?
Well, by your logic, UberPool is a serice where someone brings you a pool.
I only just found out you can book Uber on Google Maps.
thanks for the thorough answer on this When I first saw the question, I rolled my eyes and thought, "duh."
Give this woman a medal. Should at least have her name printed on the currency.
coz it's gross. your words.
some people pay to see that.
