Do Uber and Lyft require drivers to display the window placards? Why don't I always see them?

Uber Express? Honestly, Just Take a Bus
I don't know, guys. Over the last week, I tried it a few times in Boston. Both times it suggested …
I could open a new account, I guess.
I would like to think the condoms are for when the ride is complete and the couple reaches the destination.
While bikes are pretty convenient, they don't cover that much ground. They are effective for getting people around, but it incurs time. The time incurred is worth it for most people who are transporting themselves as this saves them money but when you are delivering items this "time" incurs cost, a cost that is too expensive.
Oh, jeez, you had to go there.
Companies do not collect that information. That'd be illegal. Is this purely on your own research? Clipboard in the front seat?
Intersting indeed. This entitlement for tips creates complacency and hurts the industry as a whole as service workers get lazy and lower the standard for great service. It's like how waitors pretty much expect 15-20, and good service basically went out the door.
I mean, do people remember how it used to be 15%? Then for good service people started to tip 20%? I mean what's happening? It's like a conspiracy, and the service people are winning the war of jacking up the "social norm."
All I could think was, "are they going all AV?"
not sure if that'll help emissions though
Agreed. All sounds Greek to me. (haha)
What is a shihpoo?
What is it like? non-exitent. sorry for the answer you didn't want.
It's cute you thought there wuold be one. (and how the question sin't, "Is there a training for Uber."
Are you retarded. Why would you bring a dog on your shift. It just shows you are not taking your job seriously. You don't deserve to be driving and being in a service industry.
This happens daily in Manhattan where limos will just pick up a passenger for cash. They've always done this and they'll continue to do it
Don't get me started on drivers who hit on women. Happens way more often than you think.
The 911 button will be their most frequently used feature as every driver will need it at least every month of driving an Uber and being attacked by highly privileged passengers n
yeah, the obvious answer is safety
I'm gonna go with Fuego's answer. Uber is evil. Poor Aptiv.
Hide? Interesting, I do the opposite. I use Google Maps, and I try to have the driver notice I am using a mapping app. I don't blurt and announce it, but I make comments or position it in a way he can see my screen. I do this to keep them honest.
Wait, am I being a jerk? I didn't think of that.
Yeah, it's weird that everything we say are recorded. I get it that the drivers are already listening and perhaps my rights for full privacy is out the door, but there are things I prefer not recorded, ya know? Girl talk, my plans for the night, gossips, my phone conversations...
Wait, this is really a thing? Oh, wait. 32 subscribers.
Is this some kind of an oxymoron. I thought older generations wanted to stick with cash-oriented cabs. No, Im not making fun.
Does this mean there've been deaths on private roads?
