Just to add, one could still be a carrier even after being vaccinated. To add further, there's probably a stat on how long it takes for the air in the car to be 100% circulated. I think this post does carry a helpful message. (for example, I didn't know it's 70% when the carrier isn't wearing a mask.

Don't get fooled or surprised by the delivery to the top of your car. These are the days of on-demand anything, and GPS-enabled Uber drivers can find my exact location, I expect my food to find my exact location.
Poolside? At a bar? Rooftop lounge? Playground? Just bring it DIRECTLY to me.

What you are saying is what Uber claims, i.e. extending the reach. I think that point is heavily debatable.
I agree with the writer that people who get their food delivered will continue to use UberEats. They won't go sit in the restaurant. Well, I am sure some will, but at an increased likelihood? I don't think so.
I think you should never schedule a ride. For one, you shouldn't have to, because whether you get a ride or not is still dependent on availability at the time. For two, you lose the edge by losing the ability to choose a rideshare company. Uber will know they can gouge you if you schedule a ride...

I am trying hard to see this from your perspective, but I am not sure if I can. Putting aside the legality and such aside, let's think about how a criminal would be able to take advantage of this visibility.
A psycho would open his Uber app in his apartment. He sees 12 Uber drivers around him. He knows exactly where they are. ...but now what? Run up to your car and attack? There has to be a reason they want to attack an Uber driver over many other cars that are on the road. These drivers aren't special, right?

So true. So many times I have called taxis over dispatchers and no one ever showed up.
The problem with taxis? A driver may get the request but while he is driving towards you, he may see someone hailing a ride. He'd rather pick up those users.
This definitely happens. I had more than one driver tell me this is what they do. One guy said four-star always unless the passenger exceeds expectations. Say like cash tip.

Actually, I take it back when I was like 8, I remember my parents putting me on a plane to go visit my grandparents. They came all the way to the gate and got picked up at the gate. Those were different times when people without tickets could walk up to the gate, but I digress

Your post is refreshing in midst of everyone only focusing on law, liability, insurance, etc. We should be focusing on the children and their safety first and whatever our gut tells us is what we should do.

I hadn't seen them at all until I visited LA last week. They are INSANE. They are everywhere, and all I can say is that they are polluting the city. People are leaving them everywhere.
Went to Long Beach and I literally saw them strewn all over the boardwalk. I heard they are were trying to crack down on them, but I saw no cracking down. LOL.
