Scam? I requested a Lyft the other day, and the driver saw me, and drove away. The app registered that he had "arrived" and I was charged a "no show" fee.
How is this possible? Of course I disputed the charge right away, but is this something that has happened to …
LOL love it
This seems like a lot of effort for just $5 lol
I think it's the same as Uber / Lyft regular drivers, right?
Thanks for the replies. I requested the ride at Grand Central Terminal, and it was a very busy spot. Now that I think of it, it might have been pickup just for taxis. Shouldn't they have a designated area for rideshares too? Ugh, I guess next time I will walk a couple blocks to avoid this.
Don't some drivers offer snacks for free? usually there is a sign that says , please rate 5 starts, or please tip. I don't want to pay for snacks but don't mind giving a 5 star rating in exchange for some smartpop.
I was going to say that same thing! Seems a little sketchy that a driver can decide where I'm going? Are we sure about this??
It's normal I think because Uber is on the news a lot more than any other rideshare so when people think of taking a rideshare they automatically assume uber even though there are so many other options out there
haha, I am from upstate new york... our cell towers are great. the really desolate areas do not have rideshares (yet).
woah reallyl! That has never happened to me.. im assuming it's expensive though?
Apparently Lyft has a feature that automatically adjusts the price of your ride upfront when you add a stop to your destination. Uber hasn't gotten that far yet.
i heard that uber made it impossible to change ratings, so maybe a driver gave you a bad rating on accident and couldn't change what he/she put
sometimes i call the driver to see where they actually are before cancelling the trip.
some drivers have cameras recording you in case you try to mess around with them. i heard it scares passengers
same! they say uber is now becoming a very people just use, it's kinda funny. my friends will be calling a lyft and say "the uber's outside!"
uber drivers make all the money from all the passengers, it's just like uberpool where the driver still gets paid the same amount
maybe they are just less nice because they are tired! dont take it too personally
it's not that they make less per hour than males. that's called discrimination
