I also would have been worried about their safety, I probably would have done what you did as well when put on the spot but thinking through it maybe calling the cops is the right thing to do?   Lol this comment make me think of this saying "Uber, making people dumb one app at a time". People are now going to be reliant on the Uber app to call for help instead of just calling for help. Uber doesn't need to be a middle man, they need to actually make their platform safe. SMH

  I actually thought the opposite, especially when you consider that Uber is GLOBAL. Lyft is just US/some Canada. Pretty impressive on Lyft's part actually.
