You will still get a lot of pings right now, especially as Uber has lowered the amount of people in a car with the pandemic. I find a lot of people need UberXL these days just to fit a normal family or group of friends.
haha not happening. Destination filter was gone way before the Uber lockdown.
Are you also using the same car to do ridesharing?
I think it depends on your bank, Uber submits everything on Tuesday but some people don't get the funds till Wednesday because it takes their bank longer to process.
Lots of infidelity, I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of times I have overheard someone talking to a lover.
Strange, I have never heard of this happening. Does she ever drive off unexpectedly (ie: she got a ping and you didn't). Uber favors new drivers, unfortunately.
Sorry this sucks.
Does anyone know if you have to pay for the food up front for Shipt?
and the driver didn't keep it?! wow
ya, that is how I remember it.
Interesting that prices will be similar to Uber/Lyft yet they don't have to pay drivers AT ALL. I would think it should be cheaper.
Seems that way.
The deflation of medallions is a real issue right now. I mean this is the same as the stock market crashing and all the wall street big wigs commiting suicide. These cabbies invested their life worth into these medallions. It was a retirement plan and now they are worthless.
Wait, is it not operating there now?
How does he stay so cam? She is just being so unreasonable. I would have pulled her from my car in a hot second.
Dunks. :)
The car owners set their own rates so prices fluctaute. See below.
If you share your car in a market with predictive pricing, Getaround automatically sets your car’s rates at an optimal price to maximize your earnings. Prices are quoted at a per trip level and fluctuate through the day given the changes in demand. Your pricing dashboard shows the range of prices your car may be rented at throughout the day depending on year/make/model, location, seasonality, as well as a number of other factors.
Owners in certain markets are also able to set a minimum daily price for their car. The minimum daily price you select for your car represents the minimum amount your car can be booked for if reserved for a full 24 hour period. Getaround uses this input to build your car’s pricing profile and as you move the slider, we’ll let you know how likely your car is to be rented for each minimum price you select.

Lyft isn't much better either...
Where do all these companies get their names - skedaddle? I swear rideshare companies have the funniest names.
They should have a note within the stars to indicate what they mean. Or they should be more leniant, 1 or 2 stars is bad, 3 stars is ok, 4 stars is good, and 5 stars in excellent. Isn't that hte standard start system anyways before Uber started making it 5 stars is good and 4 stars is bad? I mean if 4 stars is going to be bad why not jsut have the scale be "good" or "bad" lol
Love collecting no show fees on rude pax. If someone calls me, 9/10 times they are an a**hole.
