According to this fellow, he has been hit 3 times with this fine and the fee is automatically deducted from his Uber earnings with no way he can fight the charge. The fine is apparently for not displaying an Uber logo evne though he says he does have the Uber logo on his car.
Anyone else run into this?

How are the tickets being routed through Uber? The tickets usually have to be issued directly by the officer to the driver, but it looks like Uber sold out and is working with San Francisco.
That is pretty messed up. If there is an enforcement problem, these charges should be assessed by the city of SF to Uber.
Maybe it is. but Uber is redirecting them to the drivers. LOL
This goes back to the Employee vs. Contractor discussion again, right?
I would complain to the Airport Commission as well as serve notice to Uber that you have done so. Make a paper trail, show them photographs of your car displaying the Uber logo and the time stamp of the picture and the location to show you are in the right.
Good advice, though it seems like the fee is hit after the fact. No one is going to be taking pictures of their car every single time they do an airport pickup just in case.
I don't drive in SF so I have never run into this but it does not surprise me. Uber's support is the worst. Sounds like SFO is being a bit shady here too though...
Another example of why Uber needs beeter support. You cannot just slap someone with $100 fine and not give them a chance to prove they are innocent.
Who even reports this? A person sitting at the airport inspecting every Uber car that comes to pick up ?
