Took my 1st Uber X trip (i know better than to request pool lol) tonight to pick up my car. It was a short 7 min trip, 3 mile 10.24 total. My driver was pleasant willing to talk. Although didnt understand a lot of what I said or asked (he was from Dominican Republic) but in this instance not a big deal, car clean, smelled good, almost blew by my destination (although nice to know other drivers make that mistake like I have) lol. So I say thank you, hand him a cash 10.00 tip, say thank you, exit Ford Escape and what do I do shut the door too hard. So I figure Ill get 1 star and get deactivated lol after just 1 ride. I guess my 10.00 tip saved me or he didnt mind because I got 5 stars. My point is i didnt mean to do i had no time to apologize as his window was up and he had started to pull away. I just quickly hopped out didnt really think about it and shut it so he could be on his way. I see drivers who say they take a star away or rate low because of passengers who slam door. . My poi…

My point is it wasnt intentional. I just thought thats the amount of force it needed to shut or maybe I slam my own doors and dont realize. So next time passenger slams your door it may not be intentional. Just thought I would mention this.

Had a pool request with a rider who had 4.57 stars. Dont like pool try to not take pool requests but definately not with that rating.
Pool really means CESSpool
Good one BigFrank. I guess express pool is bigger cesspool. Even more sewage lol
"Uber told BBC that the new rule likely won't affect a significant portion of its customers — Uber estimates that 90% of its customers in Australia and New Zealand already have a rating of 4.5 stars or more. Customers who receive the ban would have had to receive multiple one-star reviews by their drivers, Uber said."
Sounds like a measured response to a problem. I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Probably a good idea...
There's gotta be a penalty for the passengers or it's an empty threat. and waht's the meaning of having passenger ratings?!
Uber passengers will get banned from the app if their rating drops below 4.0 stars out of 5.0 star rating to help improve passenger behavior who had a bad behavior includes misbehave passengers who are unfriendly and disrespectful with the drivers and their personal vehicle and not nicer not arriving at their pick-up spots on-time and choosing pick-up locations in unsafe areas. .Also driver now leave a feedback for riders if they files a complaint shows what riders did wrong to drivers and their vehicles. These are taken seriously on a case-by-case basis by Uber support team. If similar complains are filed for the same rider, Uber will warn the riders, and this can lead to temporary or permanent deactivation .That's why riders need to be nicer and friendly with the driver if you want to get a 5 star rating for being more respectful .That's why Uber drivers rate the passengers after a ride a is complete and riders would typically have a rating unde…

Some of the driver love having a small talk with their riders and many of the drivers don't like a quite riders which make them feel uncomfortable .However; if the rider would like to be chatty with a driver or not It's optional they don't always have to if the rider want a quite ride , but still riders need be more respectful if they don't want to be removing poorly rated passengers drops below 4.0 from the app .Be a good friendly Uber rider with your driver please !!!!!

See.. they can do this crap, because Uber thinks we all drive for fun in our spare time. It's like a cute little punishment. Like taking away your pass at the local arcade or ski mountain to teach the children to behave.
They have no idea that people make a living on their platform, and decisions like these can affect real lives and families.
Below 4 stars is pretty low. I mean a driver can't fall below like a 4.6...
