  Does Uber or Lyft reward highly-rated passengers (5-star riders) with discounts or other privileges?

  Someone told me Lyft does, but I am not seeing anything on their site about it.

  I think the problem is that they already collect % commissions on top of the fare.  So this is on top of it.  It's a portion of the fare that the driver doesn't get credit for.  That's the grey part of this.

  Basically, this tells us that no one really knows what the right # is.  I am sure it depends on whom you ask.  and also whom to include in the survey, because all drivers are different.  Some only drive a few hours and for some its' full time job.

  Right, unless people start sharing the trips (not cars), we won't solve the traffic problems.  People need to carpool more.

  Does anyone know if anyone who even uses UberPool?  I never have.  I don't mind paying $8 instead of $6.
