Can't get a refund on an overcharged trip (left meter running) UBER

Hi took a trip, driver kept the meter running. This resulted in my card being charged double. I contacted support and they told me that I cannot claim as it is over 30 days ago (it was 2 months ago). Has anyone had any experaince with this situation?
