How can I schedule an uber driver in advance? to be available when I arrive at cruise terminal?

The Guru Take
Scheduled Rides
Yes, Uber does allow you to schedule rides for future dates and times. You can do this directly in the app. (For instructions, take a look at this article.)
There are a few caveats however:
For one, this is not a true reservation. This is a "scheduled" request that gets triggered when the preset time arrives. Hence, the driver availability is not guaranteed.
Also, scheduled rides does not mean a driver will already be waiting for you. It is still an on-demand service, and hence you may still have to wait, depending on the drivers. In short, this is not that different than you requesting a ride upon arrival at the cruise terminal.

You probably don't need to schedule in advance, as long as you're going to a populated area... Uber is everywhere. When you get there, just hit the button in your uber app.
