Do they have rides for 800 mile trips
The Guru Take
Uber and Lyft? Probably not.
Uber and Lyft both have limits as to how long the ride can be. The app automatically end or "completes" the trip when they reach a certain threshold. See the article:
For example, Uber has a 4 hour limit. In 4 hours, it's impossible you can go 800 miles (unless you drive over 200mph).
With that said, you can always discuss this with the driver directly and see if they will accept this favor. After the 4 hours on a Uber, you could simply request another car, and you can begin another trip. Of course, there is always a chance you will get hitched with another driver, so be careful about that.
