I rode Uber and a few minutes after arrival to my house the app told me that I had rated my driver 5 stars and tiped him $5. I had done none of those two actions. Can the driver somehow rate and tip himself?

I think if you don't rate a driver they will eventually give the driver 5 stars. But the tip is weird.
That is really strange. I have only heard of this happening when riders give their phones to their Uber driver at the end of a trip, not realizing you should never give your phone to the driver. Did your driver ask for your phone at all?
No. The phone was always under my control. I just can not explain it.
Yikes. That is weird. I don't know how a driver could do that. Obviously a huge security hole if they can somehow...
