6000 rides, none for me, had the occasional coffee spill in the morning but all good. If a pax is walking sideways to my car, it's cancel and see my tailpipe. 😆
How many drunks have puked in your car? How much did you make from cleanup fees?

Once in my like five years.
I saw it in the rear view mirror. I really thought she got shot in the back of her head and her face exploded. That’s what I seriously thought for that split second until the stench reached the front seats.
I will never forget Emily. My first.
Btw, thank gosh she was with friends. I mean, what would I have done if she exploded and passed out? Straight to the police station, I guess.
Damn, that's horrifying. That's why I have airline rated barf bags but in certain cases id doesn't help.
Right, because those who have the mind to use the barf bags aren’t so drunk that they need them.
Absolutely, I think Uber has pushed people to drink more than they can handle as well as all those lives saved.
Five.
Over 3.5 years.
Only one bad one, uncontrollable vomit all over that put me out of commission for 1-2 days. Others were mostly on their shirts or their friends’, some spillage on the door, and head out the window.
I think I got $120 for the big one. Totally not worth it
Damn, only $120? How long did it take to get rid of the stink? It definitely is not worth driving drunk hours any longer, definitely not in Los Angeles where the rates are 60/21.
I have leather seats. This was before the strict rules so I snapped a pic, sent it in, and I just cleaned it up in a nearby car wash place. I just went home, left the windows down, and my boyfriend put a box fan in there for me and ran it all night.
Seriously such a low point. Catching yourself at 3 am, all alone, under the fluorescent lights of a 24/7 gas station / car wash, cleaning someone else’s vomit, and the offender is already sleeping in their home. One of those moments you ask yourself what happened to life. LOL
Yep, the gig is not what its made out to be for what it pays. The only leg left on rideshare table is left is the so called flexibility one and that's not even structurally sound any longer.
We must drive different hours because I used to get one once a month until I stopped driving those hours. Varying degrees of damages. I got so sick and tired I almost stopped driving.
I also used to drive in a college town. I assume that has something to do with it.
Definitely does, working drunk hours for what they pay us now is not worth it.
Do drivers still use fake pukes and “water on seat” to collect clean up fees? Or did Uber catch on and squash it?
Isn’t that one of the reasons Lyft now requires cleaning fees?
Requires cleaning fee receipts you mean? Yes they're very stingy on paying out now, it's best you don't have anyone puke in your car.
There were some characters trying to game the system but out if 2 million drivers, I'd say they're probably a handful. Uber cut the cleanup fees to $150 and started requiring professional cleaning receipts for reimbursement. So it's not as easy as the main stream media makes it out to be.
