Are rideshares actually a substitute for public transportation like the subway? I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts
Is it true that people use Uber and Lyft instead of the Subway?

Yes, definitely!! That is probably the number one thing people use when they don't feel like taking a subway. Although, sometimes the traffic is so bad I'd rather get on a crowded train...
to get to work every day, no. too much of a hassle and TOO MUCH TRAFFIC. but sometimes in the non busy driving hours it is nice to take uber and lyft instead of public transport
it depends on where i'm going. sometimes uber is actually cheaper than the subway if i have a discount. and when it's raining and i have to walk far to the subway, sometimes i think uber and lyft are worth it because they pick you up wherever you are
but then you have to pay a surge when it's raining... is that worth it
What do you mean, "is it true"???!!! WELL DUH!!
