On Tuesday, Uber announced its latest change, long distance pick up fees. Yes, this means Uber will now charge passengers an extra fee when it takes a driver around eight minutes or more to come pick them up.
The new fee was released under Uber's "180 Days of Change" program in an attempt to give Uber drivers more driving incentives.

See, a lot of drivers CANCEL requests that take them more than 15 to 20 minutes to get to. They've called BS on Uber and they had to do something about it.
I don't mean to by friendly to uber but I guess if this is the only way for me to have uber service at my house, I'd rather havet the choice.
Uber is always stuck between yelling drivers and customers. I feel bad.
...then again I don't.
