Taxi Driver - Boston
I've been a taxi driver for 20+ years now. Been in Boston the whole time. I'd like to think I have open mind and am not against signing up for Uber. Just haven't had the chance yet. Oh, I don't own a car, so how do I do that?
I don't know what "continous background check" is, but it sounds cool and super evil. We expect nothing less from Uber, right?

While I support more strict driver screening, this isn't the solution to improved safety. Checkr is a joke, and shouldn't even be considered a valid background check. Thy're only used by Uber so that they can say "see! We background check our drivers "for your safety.""
When do we start screening some of the creeper passengers they put in our cars? They seem to be the bigger problem.
This is actually really good. I feel like a lot of problems that stem from Uber drivers misbehaving is because their background check was clean but then they do something wrong and Uber never deactivated their account.
I don't even know what this means.
