Pretty wild. Scooters that can drive themselves to their charging stations, and redistribute themselves to wherever they are needed. So soon we'll all be dodging these as we drive around town...

Umm. Northeast checking in here. These will not work, not in the winter. Autonomous cars maybe have a distant shot of working in the winter, but trying to get one of these dinky scooters through slush puddles and around snow banks, automatically? Not gonna happen. I'm surprised even human operated ones work in the winter.
I always laugh when I see all the hype about AVs. They tested in Phoenix, and did great! Almost ready for prime time! It's like... yeah, phoenix. Does it even rain there? 😂
Are you being sarcastic or did you forget that someone died in Phoenix by being run over by an autonomous killer Uber
One more thing: I'm tellin ya...
Does anyone else feel kind of like.. this is too much? I mean, jeez. I'm not luddite but the thought of thousands of these things driving around the city on their own, unoccupied, is a bit unsettling.
Just wait until amazon launches its drone delivery service someday. Nowhere will be safe.
So it's basically a bunch of Roombas. It makes sense.
Will they even be able to hop over a curb? I feel a simple twig will disrupt them and make them go in circles.
Oh, or will they start driving on our streets? I have a feeling they will just start getting crushed by real cars everywhere.
Umm what?! Scooters just driving themselves around our sidewalks?! I truly cannot envision this. Will they dodge human walkers or are we expected to give way to them? Here it comes, robots are taking over the world.
