Will this really help in eliminating fake drivers? I would think criminals would simply premeditate their attacks and can just have these light-up signs.

    Bad, knee jerk legislation to address a non-problem.  All this does is convince people to "verify" their ride by looking for a light that can be purchased by anyone online.  People need to be verifying LICENSE PLATE NUMBERS and real driver pictures, not lights. 

    The problem here is lack of common sense.

    Just another something that won't help the real issue but end up increasing nuisance and expenses for the innocent (drivers).
