They're locked in a predatory pricing war with Lyft. Gonna be a long time before that changes. If ever. I'm not buying Uber or Lyft stock, I'll put it that way.
Their second Q is out on the 8th, Lyft on the 7th, as my article suggests, there will be no profits for a long time, not sure Wall Street will be as kind as the VC.
They're both in a historically low margin business, UBER is in three areas where they say they're disrupting, disrupt a high margin business, then let profits roll in, not taxis, food delivery or helicopters.
