Why do so many Uber users cancel immediately after the driver has accepted?

This is a question from a new driver to Uber users.  I spoke to a few other drivers, and apparently this happens with Lyft and Juno as well.

    You should think like a user and see what could be the problem.  My guess?  

    The user requested a ride, and then realized that it'll take too long for the driver to arrive.   The Uber app indicates the wait time before you request a ride, but the reality is that it isn't accurate.  It's not common for me to have the wait time go double or triple on a busy night.  (Those cars on the map are so inaccurate. In most cases, I pretty much think those are fake cars randomly placed on a map.)

    Vehicle Size - wanted an SUV

    I have heard of passengers who call for an UberBlack even though they wanted an UberSUV.  They either have too large of a party or wanted a larger car for comfort.  One of my passengers told me this.

      but if your group is too big, the driver can report you and the fare would be adjusted.  This is a known thing amongst drivers.

      For those who are simply looking for larger cars...well, I guess that works.

    Driver's name and profile pic. Yep, discrimination, racisms, something based on looks.

      Uber and Lyft decided to hide user info like name and gender, but it looks like driver information should also be hidden...?

    Once I was teaching my parents how to use Uber, I wanted to show them the whole process so I ordered a car but then cancelled immediately.

    It is definitely the wait time, Uber will tell me my car will be here in 10 minutes and then when the driver accepts it says 20! I can't wait that long.
