Would like to find out how to set up rides for my parents. They live about 90 miles away. Is there a way to set up an account with Uber and have them call when they want, and just charge whatever their fare is? Also, is there tipping on top of the fare? Our area is new to Uber/Lyft, so haven't ever used them...

Setting up rides for your parents
You lucked out, Uber just rolled out a new feature that allows users to request rides for other people. You could create an Uber account for yourself and request rides for your parents using these instructions.
The credit card on file for your account will automatically be charged upon completion of the ride. Uber also just introduced in-app tipping, so after the ride is completed you can add a tip right from your application, through looking in the "trip receipts". Tipping is optional for Uber, so you are not required to give the driver a tip.
