Is it possible to schedule a ride for an Elder parent that lives in a different city from where you live? I need to find ride service to and from a medical facility so my parent can visit. Your prompt reply will be appreciated

Scheduling a ride for a parent.
Yes, scheduling a ride for your parent who lives in a different city is possible! There are a number of ways you can go about this, I will list them below.
1. Use a specific ride service designed for senior citizens. There are actually quite a few of them and they are all slightly different. Here is a list of the ones we compiled, hopefully one will fit your needs and will be available in your parents city.
2. Try using Uber Health or Lyft Concierage. Both of these services allow medical professionals and healthcare related facilities to order rides for their patients. Perhaps your parents medical facility is already using this service and could help you out?
3. A third option is to schedule or order a ride on your Uber or Lyft account with the pickup address starting at your parents pickup location. You would have to walk your parent through the process, alerting them when their ride has arrived but a nice aspect about this method is you can easily track their ride from your phone to make sure they made it to their destination safely!
