Welcome TotalRide!
TotalRide is a ridesharing service in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. Rides can be hailed through the TotalRide smartphone app, online, or via phone, though there is a $2.75 surcharge for rides booked via phone. TotalRide has both on demand and book ahead ride options as well as three service tiers Ride, Ride Van, and Ride Assist.
With the Ride rideshare option, driver partners use their own standard sedan level vehicles to provide you with transportation.
With the Ride Van rideshare option, driver partners use their own high occupancy vehicles to provide you with transportation.
According to our recent survey, yes, rideshares really do have an impact on drinking and driving. 68% of respondents claimed that rideshares such as Uber and Lyft have prevented them from driving under the influence. That is a huge number of people who otherwises would have driven drunk! In fact, ridesharing has become so popular (and easy!) that 39% of our survey respondents said that they were less likely to purchase a vehicle now.
