Top Holiday Destinations for this Winter

Looking for somewhere to travel this holiday season? We made a list of our top 5 holiday destinations for this winter from all around the world, including which rideshare and taxi services are available in each city! 1. Geneva, Switzerland

Geneva is located on Lake Geneva, perfectly placed between steep hills and the lakeside. Pictured below is one of the infamous Christmas Markets in the city! In Geneva, Switzerland you can use UberPOP, UberX, or UberBLACK to get around. UberPOP is the most affordable option, while UberX is the standard ride, and UberBLACK is a premium ride. You can also rely on traditional taxis in Geneva if you would prefer.

2. Piazza del Duomo, Florence

This little plaza in Florence, Italy is one of the most popular locations in the world. We can tell what makes it so appealing, especially during the holidays! In Florence, you can take an UberBlack to get around, but it may be less expensive to take a cab since this is Uber's premium car service.

3. Copenhagen, Denmark

Wow, just wow. This city is spectacular, and looks like the most perfect place to celebrate Christmas. This picturesqe scene looks like something I have seen in a snowglobe. In regards to travel options, Uber is very available in Copenhagen, with offerings to fit all of your different needs. UberPop, like in Switzerland, is the low-cost version, UberSelect is one step above UberPop, and UberBlack is the premium service. Taxis are also readily available in Copenhagen.

4. Paris, France

Warning: not your typical Eiffel Tower photograph, but Paris can also be a great place to visit during the holiday season. This mall looks like something seen only in dreams. Uber comes in many forms in Paris. UberPOOL is a carpooling service, UberX one step above pool, UberGREEN uses electric and hybrid vehicles, UberBERLINE is the standard, and UberVAN fits large groups of people. Additionally, taxis are available in Paris.

5. Prague, Czech Republic 

As the capital of the Czech Republic, this city sure does stand out. Prague is nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” and it is historicaly known for its Old Town Square (pictured below). In Prague you can take Uber to get around using the options UberPOP, UberSELECT, and UberBLACK. Taxis are also an option here!

6. Boston, Massachusetts

It wouldn't be right if we didn't mention our hometown, Boston Massachusetts. Not only is this city close to our hearts, but it is one of the best places to visit during the holiday season. Boston is rich in history, being one of the first established cities in the U.S. dating back to 1630.
