Many Android users love Google Pay as it makes paying for things through your phone extra simple. Google Pay is a digital wallet on the Android platform that allows easy tap-to-pay purchases on mobile devices. Now, Uber Riders with Android devices can use Google Pay as a possible payment for their Uber rides. Want to enable Google Pay on your Uber account? Follow the steps below to set Google Pay as your preferred payment method.
1. Select "Payments" in the menu in your Uber app
2. Tap "Add Payment Method"
3. Tap "Google Pay", then "Enable"
4. Follow the prompts in your app
To remove Google Pay, simply follow the above steps above and select "Remove" instead of "Enable".
Please note that if you would like to use Google Pay for your Uber travels, you must have this options switched on before you hail your ride. Uber does not allow you to switch your payment method to Google Pay after a trip has ended.
