  What law would require a passenger to check the license plate? So if I don't check the license plate, I am breaking the law?  That's scary, because this may shift the fault towards my side if I am being attacked or kidnapped!

  I hear you though. I agree with the spirit of the law.  Just not the practicality.

   5 years ago in  Uber Express Pool, What do drivers think? I hate it!

  Is UberExpress the one that makes me walk to the end of my road (about 50 yards) and to save me $0.28?  Yeah, it's a horrible concept.  I actually thought about trying it but I figured it was too much trouble for me and the driver alike. (I live in a suburb in the woods. It'd save no time for the driver, and it's doubtful I'd be able to pool the ride with anyone else on my street with 4 houses on it.)

  I was telling myself it must work better in the city.  More like a bus, but when I think logistics?  It's hard to picture it working.

  I didn't realize that they don't match good to good.  

  Do they at least give the better rated drivers more rides somehow?  or is it purely based on distance?  I'd think it'd be good to reward the highly rated drivers by offering the rides to them first.  Then if those drivers decline those rides, the scraps (like me at 4.73) to the lowly rated drivers.

  ...but thanks for the tip!  I don't think I am an offender of any of those things, but I guess I got some work to do!

  What what what?  Where does this 4.70 come from?  I just checked mine and it's 4.73.  I am in trouble?  Is that a bad score?  

  I knew (or think I know) that Uber matches up good riders to good drivers, but I didn't know you guys saw it and could decline service.

  So my Uber requests are being tossed around like a hot potato, until it lands in the hands of a desperate crappy driver.  Maybe that's why I get the creepsters.

  Careem is dominant in the Middle East.  I am curious if this will be a precedence for how Uber will attempt to handle 99, Didi, Ola, Grab, etc.

  Well if Black Cabs operators are smart, they'll just start using Uber on their phones.  Can they do that?

  Slightly confused.  Are you referring to the initial pickup or subsequent stops on a multi-destination ride where there is a 2-minute limit? 

  I am asking because I often would like to pick up a friend on the way into town, and my friend could take more than 2 minutes to come out.  I do this now by simply asking the driver to make a stop, but I have never used the multiple stops feature your article mentions.
