This is how the system is supposed to work
You will need to book a taxi or black car service in order to talk to the driver before booking. Uber doesn't allow this. You could also book the Uber car and then message the driver and tell them your situation and if they cannot help you, you could cancel?
Im guessing it would have the be the metered yellow cab rates
This was for a festival, prices are crazy but not normally this crazy
Where are you located?
LOL, I love how this is your entire post. I was expecting some sort of story but in a way having no other context makes this that much more funny!
Have you tried blasting them on Social Media?
A lot of people probably had Covid back in January and February before it was known. I have a number of friends who remember being sick in the new year.
ha, really? I don't think the few extra feet of space is going to spare you from covid! Just ask the driver to keep the windows down if you are worried
Strange, according to this article you would probably be flagged because you didn't wear a mask but if you have always worn a mask then I don't know why a driver would flag you?!
Did you have any drivers cancel on your recently? Maybe some driver just wanted to cancel the ride and put "unsafe covid" as the reason? 😕
I thought he unloaded his shared because he has a new venture? Probably needs cash for that. This seems like a stretch.
Interesting, if you were to ask me to make a list of "hip companies" to work for Uber would not make my list either. It definitely would have in the past. I am not sure when the switch occured? This past year, 2 years ago? But it definitely gives off a big company, blah vibe now.
Do Uber/Lyft operate in your area?
Not sure if these are unspoken but don't eat or wear any super strong scents. Be at your pickup time ON TIME. Don't ask the driver to change a million things, temperature, music, etc. It is ok if you are hot or have one request but don't bombard them!
Isn't the business reimbursement rate like $0.58 per mile or something like that?! How can their per mile rate be so much lower than that!! That is the country standard for 'breaking even' when you consider wear and tear on your car, gas, etc!!
Maybe I just don't get it but what can a union do for IC drivers? I mean there are always more random people who are willing to drive for Uber/Lyft. I just don't see how this would be very successful.
I love how he is trying to figure out how to put it back on like bro you need to get your car to a garage or the dump
Right, Uber does everything for the customer. Imagine the negativity if they started booting riders off the app lol
LOL Does a fart produce germs? I mean maybe if the pax is naked?!...
$200 for 8 minutes...
