  Front seats must be able to move forward and backward.

  That seems like a weird requirement to me. Is the driver obligated to move is seat into an unsafe driving position if he is driving someone with long legs? Maybe they just mean the passenger seat.

  I'm just gonna play devil's advocate here and say... this is exactly why taxis have a medallion system and unions and stuff.

  I think we have to accept that uber is not a viable career choice. The first couple years it was great. not anymore

  So basically there are 11,000 empty taxis cruising around NYC is what they are saying. I find this hard to believe, most taxis I see have someone riding in them.
