Just like the title says. Can I smoke cigarettes? What about cigars. Or you know, other stuff. What about vaping?
Can I smoke in an Uber?
The Guru Take
Against "Community Guidelines."
Both Uber and Lyft prohibit smoking on their community guidelines. While this is a guideline and based on "courtesy", they do raise this as a reason for possibly losing your access to their services.

Damaging drivers’ or other passengers’ property. For example, damaging the car, breaking or vandalizing a phone, intentionally spilling food or drink, smoking, or vomiting due to excessive alcohol consumption. (Uber)

I think that would depend on the driver. I would hate to have someone smoking a cigarette in my car because it would smell. I'm not sure about vaping because I'm not sure if that smells. But all of them could distract the driver if the smoke is spreading around the vehicle!
Someone was vaping in the car ahead of me the other day... and it smelled. Fruity. Maybe I wouldn't mind the smell so much if I didn't know I was breathing in someone else's lung junk, but it was pretty gross.
There's a guru update now. it looks like it's against the rules. or at least their "guidelines" whatever that means.
Lyft calls it safety issue. Uber calls it damaging property. Interesting.
You and the farting guy from the other thread should get togehter.
LOL YES!
@Gurus, what about Vaping? are there policies on that?
Isn't the debated topic? What's inside vape vapor? If there is a second-hand vape damages? This page says no "http://www.projectvape.com/what-is-vaping/second-hand-vapor/"
so if you aren't doing any damages to the car, I think it passes the "guidelines", no?
You vape in my car you walk the rest of the way.
Yeah, my car my rules.
I do believe you'd get your ass kicked doing something like that.
