Every rideshare company is different regarding surcharges and surges. Companies that have surge pricing will most likely have high surges during New Years eve as a lot of riders will be looking for safe rides home. However, there is no way to predict how high these surges may be.
Most other companies, ones that do not have surge pricing, will most likely keep their fares the same. I would recommend using one of these companies over a company that uses surge pricing.
To see which companies use surge pricing, search for your fare on our Fare Calculator, and avoid any companies with the little red surge warning triangle.
