Well, the truth is that nighttime transportation for women isn't safe, whether they're riding an Uber, strolling through a park, or catching the train. Going for the right service can enhance the ride, or the business owners can start a special taxi booking app service only for women.

Well, the truth of the matter is that it isn’t safe for women to travel at night regardless of whether it’s riding an Uber, walking through a park, or taking the train

Is it safe for women to drive for Uber and Lyft. This question was asked last week. There are some comments on that one.

There is always a risk but if you stay aware you should be just fine. Make sure someone knows you are taking an Uber. Ensure you are getting in the right car by checking the license plate, car make and model, and drivers name. Carry pepperspray or something to protect yourself with. If the drivers seems off, trust your gut and order another car.
