  This was essentially a hack, right?  How did that happen? I can’t imagine regular drivers being savvy enough to be hacking a computer system of Uber.

  So there was some elaborate scheme to have unauthorized drivers picking up people?  Who are these people?  People who wanted to drive but got denied?

  Was there some organized syndicate that helped those poor who just wanted to work?  Like the Underground Railroad of the American 1800s?

  Thanks for the reminder of the dark times. We are starting to only remember good things about the past, but that is far from the truth. Uber came around because it tried to fix many of the issues.

   5 years ago in  Unbelievable! My Uber rider thought we were still not able to accept tips. WTH?

  Not everyone is a frequent user like you. So when they take a ride, they don’t open the Uber app again, so they never see the tip screen.  

  The question is, does that tip screen come up if you open the app weeks later?  I’m thinking no?

  This boy actor is amazing.  His voice trembling and all while he announced his name.  Brilliant.

  BTW, is that the same bus driver as the ending scene?  I don't think I realized that.

  It certainly isn't to make the drivers happy.  We all know there are plenty of drivers and all the company needs to do is to satisfy the investors.  you know...those with money.

   5 years ago in  What is the "cleaning fees" and "vomit" SCAM by Uber drivers? Should I be concerned? How do I avoid them?

  You guys all realize if human drivers and riders are screwing each other on this, this my get 100x worse with autonomous robot cars, right? In fact, I think auto makers are worried about this as there is no way a robot car can clean the car between rides. 

  Then of course, what would they do when there are scams where people claim the car is dirty while it isn't?

  Gosh, their website is awful.  I went looking to see which cities they are available in, and I couldn't find it at all.  Are they going to make me download and sign up before I can find out for myself whether my city is covered?

  It says they are *now* in Boston.  but wherelse?
