It seems to me that when I have all but one ride completed in my streak that suddenly I'm not getting any more rides for a LONG time. It's as if they figure they've got me hooked on line and they're going to hold me in reserve for a ride where every other driver is a long ways away.
It's getting so that I just stay on line with Uber and complete a number of rides with Uber while waiting for that last Lyft streak ride.
Anyone else notice this?

I have noticed something similar, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had this feeling. In fact, I think I’m now always skeptical and worried I’m being screwed and being taken advantage by Uber and Lyft.
Everything from how the surges popup (and go away) to how some fees I expect like long distance pickup don’t always come through
Here’s a good example, I used to rent my car from Hertz (Lyft Express), because my family car was being abused from my driving and I decided the free maintenance was a good deal. What I didn’t realize was the strict acceptance rate they require. Over 90%. So if I were close to 90, I would have to accept every request.
This may just be in my head but I don’t put it pass them. I suspected I was being sent all the pickups that were 20-25 minutes away. That’s when I started to suspect that I’m an easy target for being assigned these rides because no one else wants to do them. It would be easy for Lyft to have done that.
I’ve suspected similar with streaks too.
Wasn’t there a conspiracy that Lyft was sending all the rides to Lyft Express users because they get a portion of the revenue?
Who knows if that was true. All I can say is that this culture of deceit and lack of trust is really disturbing.
I have noticed that as well for streaks and all promotions. I am not so sure if it's my paranoia or if it's actually true. We already know that Uber and Lyft do have additional logic for matching up riders to drivers besides distance, so I am sure it happens. Probably in the name of "giving all drivers a chance" sort of thing.
We are all dancing on the palm of Uber's hand.
Is it me that I keep reading steaks.
It's you.
