I drive in the Lexington, KY market. I noticed today that when I receive a request I only get a time estimate for how long it will take for pickup. BUT, with the Driver App minimized, when a request comes in, at the very top of my phone it shows uber request, and also shows the pickup address!

Wow. That doesn't seem right. I don't think it happens on my Driver app.
Can you share the screenshot? Are you using an old version of the app or iOS or something?
The requirement to hide some of that information actually depends on your location, i.e. the city you drive in. In Chicago, for example, you can still see the pax's first names.
Wait, I thought you were talking about the destination location. You are talking about the pickup location?
Uber has never hidden that. It tells you where the pick up is even when you have the app open.
So it isn't a huge deal, but yeah, exact address can be useful.
here's the screenshot. I have to admit, I prefer the map better.
I mean, smetimes they even give you the price!
Whoa, like the precise address? I thought they were supposed to hide that...
