I’m going to be in the market for a new ride soon and I wanted your opinions. Is it more profitable to go with a Uber X only hybrid with 35+ mpg or opt for a Uber XL capable ride with less than 25 mpg? As a note, I live in Honolulu which means I think I’m in a market where Uber XLs are in high demand between large families on vacation and all of the nightlife here. Thoughts and suggestions? Also, what are some of the best options for Uber XL rides?
Thinking of buying a new vehicle, should I opt for gas efficiency or the ability to drive Uber XL?

If you're going to buy a new car to do Uber or Lyft you're making a huge mistake go buy a beater XL then you can drop down and do X rides as well when XL is not busy
Hello Serge what is the price year and mileage that would best Describe a good priced beater? I'm planning to buy a Toyota Sienna. The used ones 2018 to 2020 goes 40,000 to 45000 cad with around 60 to 80k kms.
Definitely won’t go brand new lol
Are you a newbie or been driving for a while
Agree with everyone here - go for the XL, but cheapest possible. All those vacationing families will do a number on the car.
100% agree with Serge.
What Serge said. Get the cheapest decent XL you can find.
