Uber and Lyft's New Surge Pricing (and PrimeTime) Schemes - Watch out!

Drivers are starting to express their frustrations with the new surge pricing format put into place by Uber and Lyft recently.

    I hope the passengers see that this is BS.  They are paying the inflated prices and the money isn't even coming to the drivers.

    At this point, driver and passenger should just cancel Uber trip and then come up with our own arrangement without surge.

    It's time to stand up together!

    Unfortunately, as much as we wish passengers would stand with us, the opposite is actually true.  They don't care who is making the money, THEY JUST CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH THEY'RE PAYING.  It's the reason that Pool and Shared rides are taking off.  People want cheap, and they don't care if you and I go out of business as long as they save a buck.
